A Movement Waking Up
Welcome to the very first post in our New & News section — your new headquarters for everything happening inside this wonderfully unruly movement. We’ve been building, writing, fixing, upgrading, and generally doing more than Congress does in an entire session. Here’s your sneak peek at what’s new behind the scenes.
And hey — if you’re not a member yet, you’re going to want to be by the time you hit the bottom.
We Rebuilt the Entire Site… Because Freedom Loves Good Infrastructure
We ditched WordPress.com’s padded playpen and moved into full sovereignty on Spaceship hosting.
That means:
- Total control over our platform
- Faster load times
- Sleeker layouts thanks to Kadence
- No more bandwidth throttling by companies who love to “support free speech” (until you actually use it)
The new homepage sets the tone: bold message, clean layout, and absolutely zero hesitation about why we’re here.
Membership Is Live — and Growing

Our $10 membership is now live, simple, and already bringing in the kind of people who understand that prohibition is failure wrapped in law wrapped in an overblown budget.
We rewrote the pitch, strengthened the arguments, and made the sign-up process frictionless.
If you want to help dismantle bad policy one brick at a time, this is where you do it – with us.
A Forum Is Coming (Real Discussion, Not “Community Guidelines”) – Friday!
You asked for a community space that won’t get shadow-banned for saying things like “adults should be treated like adults.”
So we’re installing a forum using bbPress, hooked natively into WordPress for maximum stability and minimum corporate interference.
Soon, you’ll have a space to:
- Ask questions
- Share research
- Plan activism
- Build a network of people sick of outdated laws
The movement gets louder when people talk to each other without moderators deleting half the conversation.
Tons of New Research, Articles, and Advocacy Work

Our article pipeline has been busy. Recent and upcoming pieces dive into:
- War-on-drugs spending by federal & state governments
- Financial cost of prohibition vs. the legal economy
- Overdose comparisons between buprenorphine and other opioids
- Historical and political myths
- Why modern opioid regulation harms legitimate patients
- How prohibition directly causes contamination and deaths
- Logical fallacies used by prohibitionists
- The true size of the illegal drug market
- And, as always, underpinning everything we do: the foundational argument: Prohibition doesn’t protect people — it endangers them
Every article is backed with real data, clear examples, and the kind of rational argument policymakers pretend doesn’t exist.
Site Organization Got a Major Upgrade
We’ve been restructuring the site to make it cleaner, sharper, and easier to navigate:

- New category structures
- Posts moved into smarter sections
- Stronger menu organization
- Better homepage boxes
- Threaded content that builds on itself
If you haven’t explored the new layout yet… you should.
Technical Fixes: The Stuff Nobody Talks About, but Everyone Notices
Behind the scenes we also:
- Fixed email forwarding and DNS chaos
- Cleaned up directory trees
- Solved media-sync issues
- Optimized hero images
- Installed a new favicon
- Improved Kadence layouts
- Cleaned up server paths
- Debugged server scripts
- Adjusted homepage formatting
It’s the kind of stuff your average visitor doesn’t know about but absolutely benefits from.
Our Message Is Sharper Than Ever
We’ve tightened the brand voice so that everything on this site speaks with clarity and conviction:
Restoring dignity, compassion, and common sense to drug policy.
No fluff. No bureaucratic double-speak. No “maybe one day.”
Just truth, backed with evidence, delivered with confidence.
